A 100 year old house is given new life for a hip young family. Contemporary materials and functionality were combined with existing heritage elements creating a space that feels as though it has evolved over time. Moldings, flooring, windows and doors were restored and the kitchen and bathrooms were completely rebuilt using high quality custom cabinetry and contemporary materials (glass tiles, quartz counters). The design was brought to life with bold lighting, a blend of furniture styles and whimsical touches such as a chalkboard wall in the kitchen and deer antler chandeliers in the entry and master bathroom.
