A 2-level 1800 sq.ft. penthouse was stripped back to the shell and reconfigured into a deluxe one bedroom and den. The client's red high heels served as inspiration for the kitchen while her husband wanted a touch of the outdoors - the two looks were brought together with extensive use of natural wood and slate juxtaposed with polished concrete and high-gloss red cabinetry. Key features include a concrete and fir wood-burning fireplace, a glass-enclosed floating staircase, a concrete eating island with inlaid fir, a large walk-in slate shower with inlaid art tile, and a walnut and concrete powder room with custom ramp sink.
